I tuned in to watch Oprah and Barbara Walters... I watched Oprah's struggle... The flow of uncontrollable tears... Oprah's tears resonated in my soul. I had the impression that Oprah was of a different character.... One of Pride and Concern with External Image.... My impression was wrong... The evidence was in her handwriting. Oprah's Character needs to be Correct... She's the Crusader who Inspires.... She's Principled and can be quite Argumentative.... Calculative in her Reserve. Oprah's Tears reveal her Inner Contradictions. There's a difference between how she actually feels and how she ought to feel. She's Determined to Hold Off Unacceptable Emotions. She has a need to protect herself from danger.... This danger lies within her.... Honesty is Not a Danger. It's Vindication.... I Love browsing the Art section of the Bookstore. It was the Photography section... A book depicting women.. Beautiful women of all ages sharing what they learned... A particular quote resonated with me for several years.... Several women quoted in similar ways... It wouldn't go away.... They wished they would have done it sooner.... Let their hair go to its natural state.... No more color. I decided to give it a try... Could I wear Grey well? I didn't see what my loved ones saw... They Approached me with kindness... Some confronted me with the Truth.... Others seized the opportunity to Lie. Looking at myself in the mirror... Was I Ignorant or In Denial? I sought feedback... I wanted to understand...
