Married for the Right Reasons?

Carly came to see me. She opened up her journal which depicted five different versions of her handwriting style. She wanted to know if she married her husband for the "right" reasons.
She didn't look like she had 5 different handwritings.

She had an elegant rhythm about her---contained , confident, calm...a natural refined beauty. Why the need for 5 different Personas?

She was embarking on a new venture--her own venture.
Why the need to put forth so many different faces from her own personal elegant style?

The depersonalized tortoise slow moving style.
The person who wanted to make things happen....but under a false appearance.
The child who wanted to please the reader.
The person who wanted to imitate someone.
The individual who had a keen awareness and understanding mindset.

Which was her true writing? Her true self?
It's the one that's the most refined....
The one with the most natural rhythm.
This is her point of origin.

Carly had a need to be authentic...
But she struggled with her image.
She was overly concerned with the type of image she was projecting to the world.
This mindset was innate to her.
She needed the guidance to shift her focus to harmony.

It made sense to me.
Carly was a refined, thinking intuitive introvert.
A striking beauty with a sharp penetrating male mind.
Her innate character needed to impress.
But she craved inner peace....
Her saving grace was self-awareness and integrity.

Where did the husband fit in?

Carly produced the seven sheets of computer printer paper from her bag.
There was a definite consistency to this man in her life.
A harmonious writing.
The man was comfortable in his skin.
Not rigid...but flexible in his adaptations.
An earthy rugged sense to her refined active mind.
A steadfast practical sustained energy.
His REAL consistency brought sanctuary to her soul.

He accepted her for herself.
He nurtured her soul with total honesty.
A place to let her hair down.

His energy brought her comfort.
That's why she married him.
