Connecting Characters....

When I first met her....
I sensed a connection
But she would do things that perplexed me....
The answer was in her handwriting.

It was her Image that concerned her...
Her internal self image....
She felt insignificant.
She was uncomfortable revealing her first name.
Some sort of unsatisfactory attitudes from another.

I felt the Good in her....
I learned from her Wisdom.
I had the Courage to correct her.

She was impressionable....
She didn't trust her opinion.
She relied on others.
She created Crazy Dramas for Attention.

I couldn't let her get away with it.
My character inspired her to assert herself...
With confidence to Be Authentic.

I wanted to help her....
I needed to help her....

I received her birthday card...
Her handwriting evolved.

Realistic...objective....practical..
Optimistic with productive initiative...
A radiant precise real sense of self.

She raised a good son....
He was drawn to my character because of her...
Our connection was immediate...

A son's positive and nurturing relationship from his mother....
Sets the tone....
It sets the tone...
For how the son treats the important women in his life.

Mondrian... Insight into the Artist's Subconscious

Finding Logic...Gesso Charcoal Pastels on Paper 32" x 40"    2018 Piet Mondrian entered my life during one my Art School Drawing classes. I was having difficulty connecting with the mannequin still life until my professor suggested a Mondrian projection.  The animated energy subconsciously came out of me, it even made it into the Spring Show Exhibition. Yet...I struggled to orally describe what I had drawn .  My conscious mind was hopelessly silent about this piece until I stumbled upon this Mondrian tree drawing on a friend's Facebook page. There was something about this animated tree that spoke to me.  The Melancholic Blue, Sanguine Red and Choleric Yellow are depicted in a rhythmic array of mental activity.  There are hints of squares & rectangles in the instinctual area taking form for his later work.  Mondrian's  trees were created during his earlier years before his work evolved to the aerated focused lines, geometric squares & rectangles. It was only a year ago... Her leading kindness permeated the room... Her silent yet soulful composure Tried to hold steadfast to control her tears for another's pain. A few weeks ago Michele Peace handed over her helm of WIN to another. It was a subtle thoughtful step away. Blessed with a Grace for Listening... She brought solace and encouragement to my soul. I don't know the reason for Michele's sudden death... Why this calming spirit was suddenly thrust from her sons, husband, family and many friends. Michele's Radiant Kindness lives on...
